Atemporal

LIMA, PERU

Set within a quiet neighbourhood in Miraflores within walking distance to Lima’s chic hub, Atemporal is a charming original Peruvian mansion from the 1940s which offers guests the chance to live like a Limeño. With just six guest rooms spread over two floors, Atemporal feels like a home away from home. Each comfortable room is uniquely decorated with an eclectic yet sophisticated mixture of contemporary classic artworks and thoughtfully collected artefacts from across Peru. Four rooms are located on the first floor opening up onto a reading area, and the remaining two rooms can be found on the ground floor. 

Downstairs, there is a cosy salon which leads out onto the veranda and a terraced garden lounge where breakfast is served. Guests can also help themselves to the Honesty Bar and House Kitchen where coffee, tea and snacks are available including daily baked sweet and savoury specials at any time. Atemporal’s host concierge is always available to help guests organise their visit to Lima, whether that be restaurant reservations, transportation, excursions in and around the city, or anything else they may need.

Fausto

LIMA, PERU

Fausto (meaning fortunate) could be described as the charming younger sister of Atemporal, and is Andean’s second boutique property in Lima. Housed in a beautifully preserved 1920’s neoclassical building, Fausto is set on a tree lined street only one block away from the Malecon, Lima’s coastal promenade, and offers guests a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of Miraflores, one of Lima’s most vibrant, yet safest neighbourhoods. 

Similar to Atemporal, Fausto feels like you are stepping into someone’s stylish home. Just beyond its entrance hall, lies the “sala”,  a cosy sitting room which opens up onto a small open air patio, whose double height wall teams with lush vegetation. Alongside is Fausto’s open plan kitchen which is available to guests 24/7 adding to the relaxed and homey atmosphere of the property. The house fridge is complimentary and stocked with daily baked sweets, savoury snacks, fruits, charcuterie, and refreshing drinks.

Five rooms are split into three different categories - Pequeña, Mediana, and Grande - two of which are on the ground floor and the other four on the first floor, all are modern and comfortably furnished. 

Fausto’s communal spaces are designed for connection, where guests can gather with a Pisco and share experiences. The delightful rooftop terrace is the perfect spot for this, yet it is also spacious enough should you wish to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book in quiet reflection.   

Like Atemporal, Fausto boasts a host concierge who is on hand to help with any request - whether that be organising a local culinary tour, arranging a pampering in room massage or an impromptu cocktail making class. Most importantly, the focus at both properties is to create a warm and friendly ambiance to ensure guests feel welcomed like old friends. Miraflores has often been referred to as a  “crossroads of tradition and modernity, where travellers and locals meet” and the very same can be said about these two special casas.

Property Location

Atemporal is located on the corner of the Arica and Santa Maria streets in a tranquil residential area in the heart of the upscale Miraflores district. The Casa is a few blocks away from Lima’s best shopping areas, fashion boutiques, restaurants, historical ruins like the Huaca Pucllana, and San Isidro’s business district.

Fausto is located on Av. de la Aviacion only a few blocks from the sea-front, and less than ten minutes from Atemporal.
